UAE SEEKS TO INCREASE SECURITY AT DUBAI PORT

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- The United Arab Emirates has decided to increasesecurity at its port of Dubai, the largest in the Persian Gulf. Officials said authorities are drafting plans to increase security atthe Rashid and Hamriya ports in Dubai. The ports are the busiest in theregion andtransport consumer and industrial goods to and from Asia.
