JORDAN BECOMES LEADING VENUE FOR IRAQI TRAINING

AMMAN [MENL] -- Jordan has become the leading venue for training of Iraqisecurity forces. U.S. officials said the Coalition Provisional Authority has launchedaccelerated training of Iraqi police and security forces at the kingdom'spolice academy outside of Amman. The officials said batches of 500 Iraqirecruits were being trained in eight-week courses.
