AL QAIDA IS NOT YET ORGANIZED IN IRAQ

BAGHDAD [MENL] -- The United States has determined that Al Qaida has failedto achieve an organized presence in Iraq. U.S. officials said hundreds of Islamic volunteers have been sent by AlQaida recruiters to fight the U.S. and allies militaries in Iraq. But theofficials said Al Qaida has failed to organize them into effective unitsequipped with weapons and explosives required for a sustained campaign.
