SUDAN'S MILITARY CLAIMS HEAVY REBEL LOSSES

CAIRO [MENL] -- Sudan's military asserts that rebel forces in the Darfourprovince have sustained heavy losses. Military officials said the Sudanese Liberation Army/Movement losthundreds of troops in heavy air force bombing of rebel camps in Darfour. Theofficials said many of the rebels fled the camps into neighboring Chad.
