Israeli Firm Wins Security Contract In S. America
TEL AVIV [MENL] -- An Israeli security firm has won a major award in South
Magal Security Systems has won a project to install a security system
for an unidentified city in South America. The company said the award was
estimated at $20 million and would be completed in 2008.
Executives identified its equipment as the Fortis command and control
system. Fortis would integrate hundreds of cameras, emergency call units and
intelligent video analysis into a municipal surveillance security network.
