GCC EXPECTED TO ORDER ADVANCED HAWK

DUBAI [MENL] -- Gulf Cooperation Council states are examining the prospectof issuing at least one additional order of the advanced Hawk air trainer. Industry sources said several GCC states have been discussing theprospect of procuring the latest generation Hawk Mk.128. The advanced Hawk,bolstered by new subsystems, has been ordered by the British Royal AirForce and the sources said GCC states have been examining the new aircraft.
