RUSSIA, SAUDIS LAUNCH FIRST JOINT OIL VENTURE

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- Russia and Saudi Arabia have completed plans to launchtheir first joint venture in natural gas production. Russia's LukOil has reached an agreement to operate in Saudi Arabia'senergy sector. Under the agreement, LukOil would engage in a joint venturefor gas production with the state-owned Aramco.
