JORDAN SIGNS LOA ON HELICOPTER PURCHASE

AMMAN [MENL] -- Jordan has begun a $200 million project for theprocurement of U.S.-origin helicopters. The Hashemite kingdom has signed a letter of acceptance for eight S-70Black Hawk helicopters from Sikorsky Aircraft. The contract has beenreported at $200 million.
