U.S. SEEKS ISRAELI WEAPONS TECHNOLOGY

TEL AVIV [MENL] -- The United States plans to obtain new weapons technologyfrom Israel amid expectations of a major growth in the market. A delegation from the North Carolina-based Remington Corp. will send adelegation this week to examine new Israeli technologies in suchfields as counter-insurgency and homeland security. The delegation willvisit several Israeli defense contractors that have been trying to find aniche in the new homeland security market in the United States.
