SAUDIS LAUNCH ENERGY PROJECT

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- Saudi Arabia has launched its third major energy projectsince 1998. Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah, has inaugurated the Haradh natural gas andoil plant, capable of processing and delivering 1.5 billion cubic feet ofgas per day to the kingdom's gas network. Haradh, located 280 kilometerssouthwest of Dhahran, also includes a gas-oil separation plant meant toprocess 300,000 barrels of crude oil per day. Haradh's oil production isexpected to exceed 900,000 barrels of oil per day.
