U.S. DEFENSE FIRM WILL UPGRADE IRAQI AIRPORTS
WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The United States has selected a major defense firmfor a project to upgrade airports in Iraq. The Defense Department has awarded Raytheon a $10.5 million to supplyturnkey air traffic management systems for airports in Iraq as part of aproject with military applications. The award contains options that couldincrease the value of the project to up to $38.9 million.
