TURKEY MULLS PROPOSAL TO COPRODUCE U.S. COPTER

ANKARA [MENL] -- Turkey has examined a proposal for the coproduction of aU.S. military helicopter. The proposal calls for the joint manufacture and assembly of the S-70Black Hawk utility helicopter at the state-owned Turkish AerospaceIndustries. The Black Hawk is manufactured and marketed by SikorskyAircraft.
