EGYPT TO LAUNCH SPY SATELLITE IN 2005

TEL AVIV [MENL] -- Egypt was said to be planning a launch of its first spysatellite in 2005. The Israel Space Association asserted that Egypt planned to launch itsfirst reconnaissance satellite in February 2005. The association said theEgyptian satellite was meant to respond to Israel's Ofeq-class militaryreconnaissance satellite.
