EUROFIGHTER TARGETS GCC STATES

LONDON [MENL] -- A European consortium has targeted Gulf CooperationCouncil states as likely customers of the Eurofighter Typhoon. Industry sources said the four-nation Eurofighter consortium has wooedsuch countries as Kuwait, Qatar and Saudi Arabia for the sale of the Typhoonfighter-jet. They said all three GCC countries were considering theEurofighter to augment their air force fleets.
