IRAN PREPARES 3 SATELLITES

NICOSIA [MENL] -- Iran was said to be designing three satellites for launchin 2005. The satellites were said to comprise both reconnaissance andcommunications facilities. The first launch could take place as early asMarch 2005 aboard an enhanced Shihab-3 or Shihab-4 intermediate-rangemissile.
