GREECE PLANS TO OPEN NEW AIRCRAFT TENDER

ATHENS [MENL] -- Greece has scrapped plans to purchase 60 Eurofighterwarplanes. The Defense Ministry has instead decided to launch a new tender forfighter-jets. The ministry planned to open the tender by mid-2005.
