GERMANY PLANS TO OFFER GCC NEW UAV
LONDON [MENL] -- A leading German defense firm plans to market its newunmanned aerial vehicle to Gulf Cooperation Council members. Rheinmetall Defence Electronics plans to brief Gulf Arab and otherpotential clients on a new micro UAV for tactical military and homelandsecurity operations. The company developed the UAV with the TechnicalUniversity of Braunschweig and conducted trials along the German borderwith the Netherlands.
