PA COOPERATED IN PROBE OF SINAI BOMBINGS

CAIRO [MENL] -- The Palestinian Authority was said to have cooperated in anEgyptian investigation of a series of car bombings against tourist targetsin the Sinai Peninsula. Egyptian officials said PA security agencies responded to Egyptianrequests for information on suspects as well as their links to insurgencygroups in the Gaza Strip. Egypt's Interior Ministry said the Oct. 7 attackswas led by a Palestinian with family in the Gaza Strip, identified as AyadSalah.
