OMAN DEVELOPS SPECIAL OPERATIONS FORCE

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- Oman has launched a project to develop the military'sspecial operation force. Gulf Cooperation Council sources said Oman has become one of severalregional countries that have launched a special operations wing of themilitary. The GCC sources said Oman's force was being developed by severalforeign allies, including Britain and Jordan.
