UAE MOVES ON GAS PROJECT

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- The United Arab Emirates has advanced in plans todevelop natural gas reserves. The UAE has awarded a contract to a company to construct an offshoreplatform in Sharjah. Maritime Industrial Services was contracted to buildthe platform in Sharjah's Mubarak field for gas transport to a processingplant.
