LEBANON REPORTS AL QAIDA CAPTURE

NICOSIA [MENL] -- Lebanon has reported the capture of what officials termedan Al Qaida network. Officials said authorities captured an Al Qaida-aligned Usbat Ansar cellthat planned to bomb Western embassies in Beirut and assassinate theirambassadors. They said the Al Qaida network, arrested on Sept. 17, alsotried to recruit for the insurgency war in Iraq.
