IRAN PREPARES LNG DEAL

LONDON [MENL] -- Iran was preparing to launch its liquefied natural gasproject. Iranian officials said Teheran was preparing to sign an LNG deal withFrance's Total and Malaysia's Petronas. They said the contract, meant todevelop Phase 11 of the South Pars field, would launch Iran's entry into theLNG market.
