TURKEY CONSIDERS TIGER JOINT VENTURE

LONDON [MENL] -- Turkey has received a proposal to participate in a Europeanproject to produce an advanced combat helicopter. Turkish Defense Minister Vecdi Gonul said Ankara has been approached tojoin a partnership to produce the Tiger helicopter. Gonul said Britain,Italy and Spain have already entered the venture and proposed that Turkey beincluded.
