ISRAEL CHANGES FOCUS OF PROCUREMENT PLAN

TEL AVIV [MENL] -- Israel's military has revised the focus of itsmedium-term procurement plan. Israeli officials said the General Staff has decided to move away fromprocurement required solely for conventional war. Instead, the revisions totheKela-2008 modernization plan called for platforms and equipment that wouldenable the military to continue its war against the Palestinian Authorityand Hizbullah.
