YEMEN PREPARES FOR FINAL ONSLAUGHT ON INSURGENT

CAIRO [MENL] -- Yemen's military was preparing for a final onslaught on anIranian-backed insurgent near the border with Saudi Arabia. Yemeni officials said the military has achieved significant gains overthe last few weeks and captured most of the territory controlled by formerYemeni parliamentarian Hussein Badreddine Al Houthi. Officials said themonth-long Shi'ite insurgency in northern Yemen has been financed by Iranand Hizbullah.
