ISRAEL, EU SIGN GALILEO SATELLITE ACCORD

LONDON [MENL] -- Israel and the European Union have signed an agreement tocooperate on a major satellite project. Under the agreement, Israel has joined the European satellite radionavigation program, termed Galileo. Officials said Israel and the EU reachedfinal approval of Galileo on July 13 in a ceremony in Brussels.
