IAI PREPARES FOR PUBLIC OFFERING

TEL AVIV [MENL] -- Israel's largest defense contractor has been preparing togo public. Israeli officials said the state-owned Israel Aircraft Industries plansto issue a public offering over the next few months. They said the DefenseMinistry has approved a plan that would in effect remove up to 30 percent ofIAI from state control.
