UAE PREPARES FOR NEW F-16 BASES

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- The United Arab Emirates prepares to complete newfacilities for its new F-16E/F multi-role fighters. The UAE has been constructing and modernizing two air force bases tohouse the F-16 Block 60 aircraft. The first F-16, one of 80 ordered, wasscheduled to arrive in the UAE by the end of 2004.
