JORDAN DEVELOPS FIRST UAVS IN ARAB WORLD

AMMAN [MENL] -- Jordan has developed the first military unmanned air vehiclein the Arab world. A partnership between the military-owned King Abdullah I Design andDevelopment Bureau and Jordan Aerospace Industries could result in theHashemite kingdom becoming the UAV center for the Arab world. Industrysources and executives said Jordan has become the first country to develop,produce and market indigenous UAVs for the military and security market.
