ISRAEL COMPLETES MISSILE ALERT PROTOTYPE

TEL AVIV [MENL] -- Israel has completed a prototype of a missile warning andcountermeasures system for civilian aircraft. The prototype was developed by the state-owned Israel AircraftIndustries and Israel Military Industries. Officials said the system couldbe deployed on an Israeli airliner as early as June.
