JORDAN'S SOFEX COULD BE MARRED BY TERROR

AMMAN [MENL] -- Jordanian authorities have placed their military andsecurity forces on high alert to guard against the prospect of an Al Qaidaattack on Westerners invited to attend the kingdom's major militaryexhibition. Western diplomatic sources said Jordan has increased security atairports, the Aqaba port and land crossings over the last week. They saidthe security was especially tight along the border with Syria.
