U.S. SEES OLYMPIC SECURITY AS MILITARY CHALLENGE
WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The United States regards the effort to secure theOlympic Games in Greece as a military challenge that would require NATOparticipation. U.S. officials said the Bush administration has been working with NATOallies in Europe to find military assets required to bolster security at thegames in Athens in August. They said Greece would require such assets asairborne early-warning and alert systems and naval vessels to guard thatnation's air and sea space.
