U.S. ARMY PLANS FURTHER DEVELOPMENT OF HUNTER
WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The U.S. Army plans to purchase 14 additionalIsraeli-origin unmanned air vehicles as part of a program to bolster combatUAV capabilities in Iraq. Industry sources said the army has ordered 14 RQ-5A Hunter UAVs fromNorthrop Grumman to support ongoing operations in Iraq. The army contractwas signed with Northrop, the prime contractor of the Hunter for the U.S.Army.
