SYRIA, TURKEY SEEK JOINT OIL EXPLORATION

ANKARA [MENL] -- Syria and Turkey have examined the feasibility of jointenergy exploration. The two countries have been discussing a proposal to explore their jointborder for crude oil and natural gas as part of trade cooperation. Officialssaid such a project could be feasible when Turkey's military completes thedemining of the border with Syria.
