TURKEY RELEASES DEMINING PLAN

ANKARA [MENL] -- Turkey has released a plan to remove mines from its borderwith Iraq and Syria. The Defense Ministry said the plan would take place over 10 years andfocus on the elimination of anti-personnel landmines along the border withIraq and Syria. Turkey's border with these two countries spans 510kilometers.
