SENIOR PA OFFICIALS PLAY KEY ROLE IN INSURGENCY

JERUSALEM [MENL] -- Israel has obtained what officials termed evidence ofPalestinian Authority funding of the insurgency war against the Jewishstate. Israeli officials said two Palestinians arrested earlier this monthoutlined the role of PA officials in funding and directing the Palestinianinsurgency war against Israel. The detainees implicated a former PAminister, senior security officials and Palestinian legislators in helpingrecruit, fund and arm insurgents for attacks against Israel.
