UAE ADVANCES DOLPHIN GAS PROJECT

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- The United Arab Emirates has taken another step toadvance its Dolphin natural gas project. Dolphin Energy, 51 percent of which is owned by the UAE, has awarded a$350 million contract to Italy's Saipem for the installation of a 48-inch,370-kilometer pipeline between Qatar and the UAE. The pipeline wasscheduled for completion in 2006 and would facilitate the transfer of Qatarigas to the UAE.
