IRAN LAUNCHES SHIHAB WITH NUKE WARHEAD DESIGN

LONDON [MENL] -- Iran has launched a Shihab-3 intermediate-range missilewith a nuclear warhead design. Western intelligence sources said the Iranian Defense Ministry hasredesigned the original Shihab-3 warhead to accommodate nuclear weapons. Thesources said the new warhead was smaller and designed as a bottle-neck in athrowback to U.S. and Soviet intercontinental ballistic missiles of the1960s.
