EW SYSTEMS IN JORDANIAN PASSENGER JETS

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The United States has financed a project to install amissile warning and protection system in Jordanian aircraft. U.S. officials said the project was meant to allow U.S. military anddiplomatic personnel to travel regularly from Amman to Baghdad. They saidthe missile warning and protection system has been installed in severalJordanian aircraft, including those on regular civilian flights to Iraq.
