Iran Deemed ICBM Threat To U.S.

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- Iran was said to be emerging as a long-range ballistic
missile threat to the United States.
A Defense Department report asserted that Iran and North Korea were
threatening the United States with development of intercontinental ballistic
mssiles. The Ballistic Missile Defense Review asserted that both Pyongyang
and Teheran were working on ICBMs, but the Pentagon could not determine when
they would be operational.
