Fatah, Hamas Said To Be Quietly Reconciling

GAZA CITY [MENL] -- Fatah and Hamas were said to have launched a quiet
reconciliation.
Officials said the Palestinian Authority has sought to facilitate a
reconciliation between Fatah and Hamas. They said members of both movements
have been released in May 2010 in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
"The general situation now is better than it was four months ago,"
former PA Foreign Minister and senior Fatah official Nabil Shaath said.
