Hamas Said To Operate In Sinai

TEL AVIV [MENL] -- The Israeli intelligence community has determined that
Hamas was operating in Egypt's Sinai Peninsula.
A report by Israel's open-source intelligence center asserted that Hamas
has established an operational presence in Sinai. The Intelligence and
Terrorism Information Center said Hamas launched up to seven rockets from
southern Sinai toward Israel and Jordan on Aug. 2.
