Saudis Cancel Major Oil Contract

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- Saudi Arabia, amid tumbling prices, has canceled a
project to develop a major oil field.
The state-owned Saudi Aramco has terminated a contract for the
development of the Manifa oil field. The contract was awarded by Saudi
Aramco to Italy's Snamprogetti in July 2008.
