PA Continues Anti-Crime Ops In Tulkarm

RAMALLAH [MENL] -- The Palestinian Authority has continued anti-crime
operations in a major Hamas-influenced city in the West Bank.
PA police were deployed throughout the West Bank city of Tulkarm in an
anti-crime operation in late November. PA officials said the operation was
to track and arrest suspected car thieves in the city, located along the
1967 border with Israel.
"This was part of our effort to impose law in the Tulkarm area," PA
police commander Col. Hoquqi Amr said.
