UAE Requests Apaches From U.S.

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The United Arab Emirates has submitted a formal request
for attack helicopters from the United States.
Officials said the UAE has requested billions of dollars worth of AH-64D
Apache attack helicopters from Washington. The UAE has submitted a request
for 30 new Apache Longbow helicopters as well as the modernization of
another 30 attack helicopters.
