Call For U.S. Pressure On Syrian Nukes
WASHINGTON [MENL] -- Congress has demanded U.S. pressure on Syria's alleged
nuclear weapons program.
At least eight members of Congress have called on President Barack Obama
to lead efforts for international inspections of suspected Syrian nuclear
facilities. The House and Senate members wrote Obama a letter in December
2010 that called on the White House to make the Syrian nuclear program a
priority of the International Atomic Energy Agency.
