Hizbullah Seen As Masters Of Lebanon
LONDON [MENL] -- The Beirut government has assessed that Hizbullah,
supported by Iran, formed a separate state in Lebanon.
A U.S. State Department cable quoted a senior Lebanese official as
saying that Iran and Hizbullah control most of the country and were
displacing Syria. The official said Hizbullah has succeeded in forming a
military and independent communications network that reflected the militia's
sovereignty.
