French Firm Sees Arms Deals In M.E.
LONDON [MENL] -- A leading European defense company envisions weapons deals
in several Middle East states.
France's Sagem has been marketing precision-guided weapons sales in such
countries as Libya, Morocco and Saudi Arabia. The company has been briefing
regional air forces on its new Armement Air-Sol Modulaire, or AASM, touted
as a low-cost version of the U.S.-origin Joint Direct Attack Munition.
