Egyptian Regime Divided As Mubarak Fades

CAIRO [MENL] -- The regime of President Hosni Mubarak has been divided, with
the military mulling the prospect of a partnership with the Islamic
opposition.
Western intelligence sources said the regime was steadily losing its
grip on power. They said both the military as well as the security forces
could no longer be counted upon to block an Islamic takeover in Egypt.
