GCC Finances Islamic Drive In Spain
LONDON [MENL] -- Gulf Cooperation Council and other Arab states have been
identified as financing a campaign to radicalize the 1.5 million Muslims in
Spain, a report said.
Spain's intelligence community has drafted a report that cited the flow
of tens of millions of dollars to Al Qaida- and Muslim Brotherhood-aligned
organizations in the NATO member. The money, also used for Muslim missionary
work, was said to have been sent from Kuwait, Libya, Morocco, Oman, Qatar,
Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
